Two little boys - Brisbane Child Photographer

I got to hang out with these adorable boys the other day. We went to their local park for a bit of a play and to take the photos. The eldest boy has a thing for dogs, he just loves them to bits so of course every man and his dog were out walking the same time we were there, so it was quite funny we’d be getting ready to take a photo and he’d spot one out the corner of his eye then he’d be off to say ‘Hello’. Big or small he didn’t care. A & P is was lovely to meet you both and your gorgeous boys.

This is a personal fav of mine…it just screams childhood , and even Dad is enjoying the moment

Can I say for the millionth time wow those eyes…………..!!

Emma & Greg’s Wedding

On Sunday I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Emma & Greg’s Wedding. I first met them about a year ago when I photographed their second little boy when he was just a newborn, they are such a lovely couple and when Emma asked me to photograph their special day I knew I had to. I asked a lovely friend of mine Leanne from LMB Photography to help record the days events. Emma & Greg were married at Woodlands of Marburg , it was going to be an outside wedding but just as we made our way from town the clouds came over and brought with them rain so luckily there was this lovely quaint little church on the Estate that they held the ceremony in. This was the first wedding I have done with another photographer and I really enjoy seeing some of Leanne’s shots Here taken from a different perspective. Emma and Greg, thank you so much for having me photograph your special day may you both have a wonderful and full life together.

Sweet little Miss Ella - Brisbane Child Photographer

What a difference a year makes!!! I was lucky enough to photograph Ella when she was only 8 days old Here I can’t tell you how nice it is to be asked back into my clients lives to photograph their precious children again, and it is so nice to see how much my ‘babies’ have grown. Little Miss Ella was such a happy little girl who is getting really close to taking her first steps. T & M is was lovely to see you both again, here’s a sneak peek of your gorgeous little girl……..

Another gorgeous 3 month old - Brisbane Baby Photographer

Sunday, February 15, 2009 – 11: 41

I loved photographing little Miss M, she was so good for me. It was a real hot day but she didn’t seem to mind. We got some awake shots then mummy gave her a top up and she comfortably feel asleep on the bean bag so we could get some cute sleepy baby shots. She was quite funny as every now and then she would wake up, look around then we would give her a gentle pat and then she’d nod off again. She did this several times, I think she was just checking mummy was still there nearby.

A day Australia will never forget……………….

Wednesday, February 11, 2009 – 1: 41

Like so many Australians I have been watching the horror unfold on the TV for the past several days. My heart goes out to the families who have been affected by the terrible ‘Australian Bushfires’ this past weekend. What these people have been through and are still going through is beyond comprehension. It makes me sick to the stomach to know that this was deliberately lit.

These poor people have lost everything, their homes, their memories, all their worldly possessions, in time all this can be replaced, what can’t be replaced or brought back is their children, their Mum’s and Dad’s, their Grandma’s, their friends.

I came across a fellow photographer’s blog Kris Leigh from Newcastle and saw that she was donating her session fees to the Red Cross to directly help the victims of the bushfires, I thought that was a lovely idea.

So for anyone booking a session from now until the end of March, please visit the Australian Red Cross website, donate your $120 session fee via the secure online donations form, send me an electronic copy of your receipt and we will organise a time and date for your session.. Please e-mail first so as I know to reserve a date and also to let me know to expect your receipt!
