The T Family
Wednesday, November 25, 2009 – 12: 06
Here’s a sneak peek of a shoot I did recently at a Dairy farm, I was really excited when Mum told me the location. I just love farm, country shoots. Those old Rustic fences and sheds always photograph great. These kids were so much fun and so willing to do what I wanted. R & D I went overboard on your sneak peek, too many favourites, enjoy!!!!
Sibling Shoot
Tuesday, November 24, 2009 – 5: 00
I was hired by a some lovely past clients to take some portraits of their siblings and individual families for Christmas. With 5 siblings and three had their own families it was pretty hectic, especially with three babies too. I dunno how Anne Geddes does it, LOL. But they were fun and nice and relaxed and I got to see two of my babies I have photographed as newborns again so that was really cool. Here is a quick sneak peek.
My two lovely clients, their babies only months apart
This boy has the coolest name ever………..and the most amazing eyes and lashes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He’s gonna be a heartbreaker..
An afternoon at the beach

Met this lovely family for a late afternoon beach session just recently. I love beach sessions, It hardly seems like work when you are on the beach with your shoes off photographing gorgeous kids playing. This little girl was just an absolute delight for me and oh so photogenic. It was lovely to meet you E & R, I really enjoyed our session.
If anyone is wanting memorable images like these of their family call me for a beach session. I am currently booking for February. You can reach me on

Sneak Peek
Friday, November 13, 2009 – 2: 29
I photographed this fun family at their home last week then we went across to this park at the end of their street for some more photos. How lucky are they to have a park at the end of their street!! . Like most girls these two gorgeous girls loved having their photo taken. I am loving the colours mum chose for this session, I think it goes really well with the location.
Aww love these…………
Gorgeous twins
Tuesday, November 10, 2009 – 6: 36
Last week I was lucky enough to photograph these gorgeous twins, a pigeon pair I might add. I have to say that as far as newborn sessions go this was the easiest shoot ever even though there were two babies. Mum took my advice and had the house really warm (I mean we were sweating) and I swear it worked a treat, they sleep soundly especially the little girl, we could do anything we wanted with her she was soo sleepy. Mum and Dad were really laid back and ever so nice, A & S I really enjoyed our session and I am loving the gorgeous images we got of your gorgeous babies.
I love this image………………….
Big sister……………..
12 day old newborn - Brisbane Newborn Photographer

Meet Angus, (love that name!!) he is the new baby brother of a past client of mine Charlie. All of 12 days old and such a gorgeous little boy. We held his session last week and got some fabulous shots. As you can guess when dealing with naked babies it can sometimes get messy, poor Dad he was such a trooper as he literally coped it all, and was still smiling at the end of it , what a Dad!!! S & A it was great to see you both again and meet your new little guy, he is just adorable as is his big brother . I will be in touch very soon.
I just love it when I get a smiley shot…..awww!!!!!
Yes we did get one shot of big brother!!!!!!!!
Something everybody should read!!

If only. From: http://www.sheyerosemeyerphotography.com/blog/2009/11/if-only-2/ (Copied with Permission from Sheye)
This is the tragic story of a very talented photographer in Queensland called Sheye Rosemeyer who tragically lost her beloved daughter Ava in February 2007, please take a minute to read this very important message.
It’s getting hot here in Australia. Summer is just about here. For a long while after we lost Ava, I would brace hearing the evening news, never wanting to know of another family enduring what we have..of someone elses precious child losing their life the way Ava did. But that day came, another family lost their daughter, and then another. One mother, she lost both her children. Every time, it broke my heart all over again. Such a simple thing – family cars parked outside homes..a brief window where all of the planets made way for the perfect storm and then, just like that, nothing was ever the same.
How I wish just the simple act of distributing the Ava’s Rule postcard would mean this never happened again, anywhere, ever. In reality I know it’s probably not possible. We can try though, can’t we? Please email this post card to every single person you know. For us. For Ava. For families who adore their children, who think they’ve covered off all the risks, who may have never thought of the dangers of their car parked outside on a normal Sunny day. Please.
There are two other things I want to share with you too. Because of other grieving families I’ve met over the last three years, I am horribly aware of the many varied ways in which childrens lives are cut short. Some of them are completely obscure and some are tragically, much more common.
The risk of drowning to young children, particularly here in Australia where we spend much of the year swimming, is very real. If you have a pool, I ask you to strongly consider installing a pool safety net available, from here in Australia and here in the USA. If you think it’s not necessary, the devastated parents of those lost children would tell you it is. So many very good families lose their precious and adored babies in the blink of an eye, with pool fences in place.
I would also ask that you take a moment to read this post regarding new child restraint legislation here in Australia, effective March 2010. Because of the tireless work of our beautiful friends, Danielle & Noel Broadhead, Isabelle’s Regulations have been introduced. I am so proud and so sad at the same time. I know this victory is bittersweet for them – just as sharing Ava’s Rule is near impossible but imperative for me.
It’s been difficult to write this post. I’m not someone to tell others what they should be doing. But how I wish, with every ounce of my being, that someone had sent me a postcard like this one before we lost our Super Princess. If someone had shown Yasmine or Hannah’s Mum a pool net. If someone had mentioned to Danielle and Leanne the risks of booster seats and adult seat belts. If only.
