FAQ’s

How far in advance do I need to book my session?

I usually book several weeks in advance and photograph a limited number of sessions a month.

How long does a session last?

Generally sessions last around 1 & 1/2  hours depending on how many people are going to be photographed. Newborn sessions can sometimes last up to 3 hours; this allows plenty of time for breaks, feeds and changes.

What time of the day is best for my session?

Outdoor portraits are best scheduled late afternoon as the sun is much lower in the sky and makes for a more pleasing portrait. Indoor sessions for newborns and very young children are held around mid morning.

What happens after our session?

Within two weeks I will contact you and provide you with a link to a slideshow that you can download to your computer. I will also email you a link to an online gallery, both of which will be accessible for 5 days.

Do you photograph large family groups?

My style of photography is more relaxed and larger groups require a lot more posing which is not my style. I am happy to suggest other photographers who would suit your needs better.

Feeling under the weather?

If your child is feeling ill, please call me to re-schedule. It is better to re-book to a day when your child is feeling a lot happier. We have the same goals – that is to get some beautiful portraits for you and your family.

Do you sell gift certificates?

Yes I do. Any amount over $200.

Do you sell digital files?

Yes. Please contact me for prices.
