What type of Sessions do you offer?
I offer Newborn, Family, First Days sessions, Event Photography such as Engagements, birthdays, formals and even the Cake Smashs
When is the best time to book a Newborn Session?
The best time to book a Newborn Session is whilst you are still pregnant. Since we don’t know exactly when baby will arrive, I put your due date in my diary then once baby arrives a session date is then confirmed. Pre booked clients have preference over dates than those not booked. Payment of the Session fee secures your due date in my diary.
I’ve already had my baby, is it too late to book?
No not at all, I can usually fit in last minute bookings.
My baby is over two weeks old, is it too late?
Ideally the best time to photograph Newborns is within the first two weeks, ideally 6-10 days. This is when babies are most comfortable, sleepy and content during a session. After this, newborns can become more alert and sometimes develop wind and reflux issues which can interfere with their comfort during sessions, but that said we can definitely photograph your baby if he/she is older.
How long does a Session last?
With newborns I say to allow 2-3 hours, this give us enough time in case baby needs to be feed or settled.
Portrait Sessions usually 1- 1 1/2 hours.
How do I order?
Once you are ready to order, please email me through all of the details of your order, and also which method of payment you will be using either bank transfer, credit card or cash. I will then total everything up, ask any questions that I may have to help finalise the order and will send through your Invoice along with any proofs that may be required. Payment of any order is due IN FULL when the order is placed (unless a payment plan has been agreed). Orders will be placed after all payments have been cleared and confirmed.
What is the best time of day for my Newborn Session?
I always hold my Newborn Sessions at 9am. These Sessions can take place in your home or I have an area at my place I set up that has awesome light.
What time of day is best for my outdoor Family Session?
I always try and hold my outdoor sessions in the late afternoon, usually 1 1/2 hours before sunset, this is the best time of day and has the most gorgoeus light.
What do I wear to my Newborn Session?
Parents I suggest light netural colours look best, Mum’s I always say what you feel comfortable in there is nothing better than lovely soft colours with that brand new bundle.
What do I wear for my Family Session?
The goal is to keep the attention on the subjects, not clothes. So I suggest to avoid large prints/logos and clothes with characters on them as they date. I also find that having a common colour theme through everyone’s clothing makes for much better looking images! I suggest to lay all the clothes out on the bed and imagine if one person was wearing it, would it look pleasing?
